We are happy to host a mahjong coloring workshop for Baptist Oi Kwan Social Service to promote this unique craft to over 40 participants who are interested in knowing the mahjong culture. The workshop started with an interesting introduction on mahjong history and its impact on local culture then moved on to the various production method by master craftsmen and the meaning of mahjong tiles. With understanding, participants began practice by coloring their own mahjong tiles. By the end of the workshop, each participant is able to bring home a personalized mahjong tile gift set.

This workshop is suitable for people of all ages and background and no prior knowledge or experience is required.
