• Core Rules & Unique Mechanics: Understand the flow of the game, including the distinctive "Riichi" declaration for a ready hand and the concept of "dora" bonus tiles that increase your score.
• Yaku (Winning Hands): Learn the essential list of valid winning combinations (Yaku), which are absolutely crucial for forming a legal hand.
• Demystifying Scoring: Han & Fu: We will break down the Japanese scoring system in a clear, understandable way. You will learn:

  • Fu (符): How to calculate the base points of your hand based on its composition and method of winning.
  • Practice using the scoring tables to turn your Han and Fu into a final point total.

Prerequisite: Completion of Mahjong 101 & 102 or equivalent foundational knowledge.

Private class option: If you prefer a private class and have fewer than 4 participants, please select the "Private Class" option.

Medium of delivery: English, Cantonese or Mandarin

Age: 6 or above
